This event is organized by the Research Institute for Entrepreneurship and Innovation (VÚPI) with the support of the Czech Chamber of Commerce for Huawei Technologies Czech in cooperation with EIT Urban Mobility. The program supports talented and goal-oriented women from the start-up environment and presents specific stories of women who are now successful entrepreneurs.
Join us for inspiring and empowering sessions designed for both experts and aspiring women in tech on Tuesday 14 November 2023 at WeWork in Prague. Our goal is to bring together women from all fields of the business world to network, learn and grow together. You will have the opportunity to hear from industry experts and trailblazing female entrepreneurs and connect with like-minded individuals eager to embark on the journey of innovation and supercharge their tech careers.
This Women In Tech event will bring into focus FemTech (female technology) which refers to technological innovations that are specifically designed to address various aspects of women’s health and wellbeing. Introduced in 2016, FemTech as a sector within technology aims to bring into focus previously neglected sections of technological developments. During this event, experts from various fields will discuss FemTech as a mean to create more inclusive societies.
This event will be held in English, it is free of cost and open for everyone.

Speakers
Linda Štucbartová, coordinator and mentor of the Women In Tech program. At the same time, she is a member of the Executive Board of the Czech-Israeli Mixed Chamber, where she heads the Science, Research and Innovation section. Her latest project is education in the framework of the prevention of violence and aggression under the name Self-defense for all, for which she received the Heart of the Year award. City of Prague and nomination for Woman of the Year 2022.
Diana Radl Rogerova, Partner at Behind Inventions. After 26 years as a managing partner at Deloitte, a passion towards technology lead Diana to make a career change to becoming an Investor, to focus on supporting companies with great potential in solving technological challenges of our time. Diana is an expert in Business Planning, International Tax, Consolidation, Corporate Finance, new technologies and future trends.
Tomáš Šebek, Co-founder and partner at virtual hospital uLékaře.cz. In 2004, as a medical doctor, Tomáš founded a medical agency called MeDitorial, and later co-founded a virtual hospital and unique telemedicine project called uLekare.cz. With experience as a doctor abroad in Haiti, Afghanistan, South Sudan and Yemen, Tomáš utilizes his medical and digital skills, knowledge & experience to develop both Health and e-Health systems that push the boundaries of conservative view and improve the health and daily lives of people.
Zuzana Pickova, CEO at Czech Private Equity and Venture Capital Association (CVCA), and Member of The Supervisory Board at EIT Urban Mobility. With years of experience in Venture capital, Zuzana is passionate about Inclusivity & Leadership in finance, and uses her expertise to support females entering and establishing themselves in the field of private equity and venture capital.

Women in Tech is a program supporting talented and purposeful women from the start-up environment. It presents specific stories of women who are now successful entrepreneurs. The program aims to help the development of women’s competence in the Czech Republic. It focuses on educational activities and supports events and activities in cooperation with partners that enable women in the field of modern technologies and digitalization to develop their entrepreneurial skills and abilities.
